Petr Mlčoch Ing.

An authorized expert appointed by the Czech Ministry of Justice for the field of civil engineering; a graduate of qualified studies at Forensic Engineering Department of Brno University of Technology; work experience in loss adjusting, building and in an engineer's office.

Petr Mlčoch is an experienced expert in loss adjusting and claims management of major and catastrophic Industry losses, business interruption losses, technical-construction losses and losses on movable and immovable assets. He has been involved in claims management and loss adjusting of hundreds of difficult losses that arose during the floods in 1997, 1999, 2000 and extensive floods in 2002.

Petr Mlčoch gained his work experience in the field of independent loss adjusting while working as an office supervisor in a company in Brno, which cooperated with Crawford & Company, International Loss Adjusters and Surveyors, during 1998 to 2001 on the basis of an association agreement about an exclusive cooperation.

Expert studies - Technical Forensics and Claims Handling in Insurance at Mendel University in Brno. He was appointed a member of examination board for both a written and oral part of the middle and higher level of Expert Exam by the Minister of Finance under the section 18; subsection 4 of the Act No. 38/2004 Sb., Brokers and Independent Loss Adjusters.

Jan Mareček prof. Ing. DrSc. dr. h. c.

An authorized expert appointed by the Czech Ministry of Justice for the field of general engineering and economy, specialization - prices and appraisement.

Jan Mareček is a recognized expert on technical and environmental fields of knowledge. He has a multiyear work experience in evaluation of damages and setting of insurance benefits for individual insurers, courts and other institutions. Since 1992 he has elaborated hundreds of surveyor's report and expert opinions on damages on movable assets, machinery and equipment in the field of environment. He is an expert on technical and environmental safety, integrated prevention and managing of these risks. He is an author of many scientific and expert works. He is entitled to pass judgements on impacts on the environment.

He is a lecturer and teaches, among other things, Technical Forensics and Claims Handling in Insurance at universities.

Miroslav Škopán doc. Ing, CSc.

A recognized expert with many years of experience in evaluation of damage and determining compensations (insurance benefits) for insurance companies, courts and other institutions. Doc. Škopán also has vast experience in expert activities in the field of mechanical engineering, heavy and general engineering, specialization - building machinery, transportation and manipulation engineering.

Miroslav Škopán is a lecturer at the Brno University of Technology, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, and at Mendel University in Brno, where he teaches courses in Technical Forensics and Claims Handling in Insurance.

Karel Fabich Ing

Ing. Karel FabichBRANCH MANAGER, SENIOR LOSS ADJUSTER

Originally an aeronautical engineer in research, he has been working in insurance industry since 1992 as a loss adjuster of industrial and air-hull losses; since 1994 as a broker and a head of Risk Management department at Marsh & McLennan and since 1997 as a Claims Manager in AIG in the Czech Republic. He has an extensive experience in the area of property, machinery breakdown, CAR/EAR and liability claims together with relevant risk pre-surveys elaboration. During the catastrophic floods in 2002 he closely co-operated with companies Crawford, Cunningham & Lindsay and RGL.

He passed several courses organized by Munich Re (Munich), Tela (Munich), Bowring (London), and AIG (London, Paris, New York).

Petr Nauš

Petr NaušLOSS ADJUSTER, SURVEYOR, EXPERT, CO-ORDINATOR & QUALITY MANAGER

An expert on appraisement of movable assets, damages on stock, machinery and technological equipment and IT. Since 1997, he has worked in the field of survey and loss adjustment of transport losses, damage to vehicles and carriage vehicles (expert in claims management and loss adjusting in Marine & Cargo).

Petr Nauš passed the Basic Qualification Test provided by the Act No. 38/2004 Sb., Brokers and Independent Loss Adjusters.

Boris Lenert Ing.

Ing. Boris LenertLOSS ADJUSTER, SURVEYOR, EXPERT

He is an expert with extensive experience in claims handling - SME and MidCorp and Corporate Clients insurance. He is also an authorized engineer and fire safety expert

Boris Lenert gained his work experience as a Claims Adjuster Senior Expert in insurance company Kooperativa, pojišťovna, a.s.  and also as an Claims Handler - Expert in insurance company of ČSOB  pojišťovna, a.s. -  handling claims caused by natural hazards on movable and immovable assets, including consequential losses; claims handling of losses from the General and Professional Liability aspects of authorised parties in Construction; Product Liability; production failures and losses on Aircrafts.

Furthermore he has work experience in building, designing and building administration. He is an authorized engineer for building construction and is a competent person for fire safety in accordance with section 11 of the Act No. 133/1985 Sb., on fire protection.

He passed a course Surveyor’s minimum at Institute of Forensic Engineering at Brno University of Technology and he also passed the Basic Qualification Test provided by the Act No. 38/2004 Sb., Brokers and Independent Loss Adjusters.

Michal Prokeš Ing.

Ing. Michal ProkešLOSSADJUSTER, SURVEYOR, EXPERT

He is an expert with extensive experience in claims management and claims handling in the area of household insurance, SME, industrial MidCorp and Corporate Clients claims.

Michal Prokeš has gained his practical experience as a Claims Adjuster Senior Expert in insurance company Kooperativa, pojišťovna, a. s. – especially in theft, burglary, and robbery claims. He has also participated in elaboration of the Claims Guidelines for this area.

He has gained further professional experience as a Claims Adjuster - Expert in the insurance company ČSOB pojišťovna, a. s.  – handling claims caused by natural hazards on movable and immovable assets, theft, burglary, and robbery claims; claims from the General and Professional Liability, Tax Consultants and Bookkeepers Liability claims included.

He was involved in claims arising from the extensive flooding in Moravia in 1997 and subsequent years, as well as in the loss adjustment and claims management of major flood losses in 2002.

Ing. Petr HabartaEXPERT, LOSS ADJUSTER

He is a respected specialist with a multiyear experience in estimation and assessment of business interruption losses; assessment of financial liability losses for individual insurers and other institutions. A tax consultant registered at the Chamber of Tax Advisers of the Czech Republic. Since 1996 he has experience in the field of auditing of accounts, elaboration of expert and specialist reports. Since 1999 he has experience as a fully qualified tax consultant.
